Bought fancy lithium battery and kept it on a tender, but it is totally dead in one year. What do you recommend in the way of batteries?

Stock shares in Lead Processing facilities (mining, recycling,
manufacture). <G>

The Dung Beetle* kills a $60 battery every two years, even with the use
of a battery tender and sometime a full-up charger that includes automatic
desulfation mode.

* Aprilia Scarabeo 500 ABS -- the older touring model, not the later sports
body.

If it truly was a lithium-based battery, I hope it had a built-in
charge controller -- since generic batter tenders/chargers and motorcycles
are designed to manage lead-acid charge curves.
