My trunk has reflectors on it including one in centre that looks just like a brake light, and, that one has a gap behind it like a light could go there and maybe connect to the brake system??

It would feel safer to have a brake light up so high especially with the trunk on.

And if the reflectors to the left and right of the brake light could also be lit with the head light /tail light system ... Does anyone know if they make kits to light up all these reflectors in the back of trunks?

Thanks!

So it's a givi trunk. Are the light kits difficult to install yourself?

I'm sure Givi will sell you a brake light kit. It will probably be rather
expensive but fit and look nice without too much tinkering.

I've heard of people tapping into the main brake light harness using 12V
LEDs + a small resistor and some hot glue + silicon sealant to accomplish
the same. If you want to still be able to detach the topcase/trunk you'll
also need a "flat 2" trailer-type connector for the wires coming from the
main wire harness.

Good luck!
